Condition

The base is probably a later replacement. There is a ca. 3.5cm wide narrow piece of the rim that is cut out and was later restored. The is a ca. 1cm wide casting flaw to the base of the foot. There is a casting flaw in the form of a hole next to one handle where the decorative band joins the body. There is minor overall wear to the surface. The bronze is of a richer, darker tone than the catalogue illustration suggests.
