Condition

Very good condition for objects of this type and age. Minor marks, nicks, scratches, abrasions and wear consistent with age and use. Hairline vertical age cracks to all four. Zither shown at far left of catalogue photograph with glued vertical age crack through the box and losses around holes for attachment of strings as shown in catalogue photograph. Second from left with some missing inlaid metal elements and consolidated cracks on the reverse. All with fine glossy patina, some lightly waxed.
