Condition
The canvas has been relined. Under ultraviolet light the varnish fluoresces evenly and quite opaquely; the only clearly visible retouchings are minor scattered spots along the framing edges. Apart from some scattered tiny pinhead-sized spots of paint flaking visible under close inspection notably in the mirror, this painting is in good condition and ready to hang.
Presented in a decorative gilt frame.
