Catalogue Note

A fireplace of the same design was installed by Voysey in Garden Corner, Chelsea Embankment, London, the home of E.J. Horniman.  Voysey and Horniman were close friends and had worked together on projects in 1894 and 1904-5. Horniman decided to redesign the interiors of Garden Corner in 1906.
