  • pearlware (pottery)
  • pearlware jug: 25cm., 8in. creamware jug: 14cm., 5½in and mug: 12cm., 4 ¾ in
  • All made in the 19th century.
with sprays of flowers and initials SS within floral garlands together with a small creamware baluster jug, printed in black with a scene titled Gretna Green or the Red Marriage and a Staffordshire salt glazed stoneware cylindrical mug, painted with flower sprays

Condition

1. Minor wear to enamel 2. Haircrack to body, approx. 3in length, chip to footrim. approx. 1cm x 0.5cm. smaller chip to footrim 3. 8 fine haircracks to the rim. Longest approx. 2 in. starcracks to base. One extending up the sides for approx.. 2in. haircrack to one side, approx.. 1 in. some staining to the glaze.
