Condition

Purchased: Simon Hilton, Essex, 20 September 2004 The sheet has not been laid down and some traces of the sketch on the reverse are faintly visible in the sky. The sheet cockles with some light creases and a small abrasion in the upper right corner. There is a small vertical slit in the lower left corner approximately two cm. long, and artist pin holes in the centre of the upper and lower edges. Contained in a wooden, double sided frame under glass, with both sides of the sheet visible. Unexamined out of frame.
