Purchased: Abbott and Holder, London, 19 April 2005
The board is slightly bowed. Some minor frame abrasions along upper edge and a small, faint protrusion and resulting craquelure in the upper right corner corresponding to a knock to the reverse. Otherwise the work appears in good overall condition and the colours are vibrant.
Ultraviolet light reveals a few minor flecks of retouching along the upper edge and near centre of left edge.
Held in a decorative gilt plaster frame.
