Both works unexamined out of the frame and under glass. Presented in a simple gilt frame, the edges of the sheet not visible and covered by the mat, under glass. Three Guardsmen: The ink appears to have faded over time. There is a small puncture with associated abrasion and rippling to the left of the central figure's head, two small holes in the back of the figure to the right, a small loss in the sheet visible near the centre of the right edge, and some scattered small abrasions. Presented in a simple wood frame, the edges of the sheet not visible and covered by the mat, under glass.
