Condition
Both works unexamined out of the frame and under glass. Each work is presented in a simple wood frame, the extreme edges of the sheet covered by the mat and not visible, under glass.
Horse and Carriage:
The sheet is slightly undulating. There are two spots of abrasion to the left of the leftmost horse, and the ink has faded somewhat over time and the sheet timestained.
An Elegant Trio:
Executed on blue paper. The ink has faded over time. There is a horizontal circa 4cm crease to the left of the ladies' heads, a circa 3cm repair in the lower left corner, a light abrasion in the dress of the figure to the left (visible under close inspection), and some light surface dirt primarily along the lower edge.
