Condition
Both works unexamined out of the frame and under glass.
Cavalry Officer Giving Orders:
The sheet is undulating in the upper right quadrant. Light staining is visible near the top of the left edge and the ink appears to have faded with age. Faint spots of foxing are visible under close inspection overall.
Presented in a simple gilt frame, the edges of the sheet covered by the mount and not visible framed, under glass.
The Cavalryman:
The sheet is undulating along the upper and left and right edges, and is evenly time-stained. The ink appears to have faded somewhat with age.
Presented in a simple wood frame, the edges of the sheet covered by the mount and not visible framed, under glass.
