  • gold, mother of pearl
  • diameter 48 mm
• gilt verge movement, winged balance cock pierced and engraved with scrolls, baluster pillars • silver dust cap engraved with maker's name, gold champlevé enamel dial with Roman numerals, arcaded chapter ring • the inner case centered by engraved British Royal Arms, pierced and engraved with scrolls inhabited by birds, dolphin head and a dog, bezel fitted with an a-toc lever • the outer case with mother-of-pearl-set cartouches applied with red foil-backed rock crystal, framed by gold tendrils the openwork reserves pierced and engraved with foliate scrolls • inner and outer cases stamped with maker's mark below the crown, dial, movement and dust cap signed

Condition

movement and striking in runing order, the mother of pearl cartouche with chipping at corner, another with hairline, overall the slight chipping to many of the surfaces of the red crystal, some loose, later bell, and replaced hands. This watch contains endangered species; please see Important Notices for further information. Please note this lot contains mother-of-pearl and will require 1-2 weeks additional clearance time for export from the United States.
