Condition

Fragmentary as shown in catalogue photograph. Marks, nicks, scratches, abrasions, and small chips. Straight, shallow cut mark at the back proper left side of the neck. Numerous holes concentrated in shoulders and back from previous metal insertions, some with small areas of erosion. Charge container on chest with two metal nails. Chipping, cracking, and small losses around edges of charge materials. Vertical age cracks including one at center of back and another in proper left back side of neck. Ceramic eyes with scratches and very small chips. Fine aged, glossy blackened patina. Eroded under the waist. Metal attachments aged and oxidized. Permanently fixed to base.
