Condition

The chair in the left of the image with tip of proper front right knee return lacking; proper front left knee return with replaced tip; proper front right foot cracked at bottom and slightly loose, The chair in the center of the image with one corner strut replaced. The chair in the right side of the image in the foreground with tipped front legs which can be seen in the illustration; the side stretchers replaced; front proper right knee-return with replaced tip; front proper right leg with replaced side knee return; one corner strut replaced. The upholstery to the backs of the chairs has been removed to reveal old rails and stiles with minor restorations. Overall the mahogany with usual old marks, nicks and scratches consistent with age and use. The backs are slightly loose and could use tightening; otherwise the chairs are sturdy and have a nice rich mahogany color.
