Provenance

Tullio Silva Collection, Milan

Condition

In overall good conserved condition. Joints sound and sturdy. The wood on the arms is a bit dry looking and some of the varnish on the side-rails is a little bit worn in places and would benefit from a repolish according to taste. There are some very minor restorations to the moulded border of the top-rail with a very small triangular section missing from the top right side, but this does not detract from the piece and also to the base of the right back support where there is evidence of a previous fixing. Feet retipped 127cm. high, 76cm. wide, 80cm. deep; 4ft. 2in., 2ft. 5¾in., 2ft. 7½in.
