Condition

In overall good conserved condition. A stunning model and most impressive and can be placed immediately. The gilding is less greenish more golden and attractive than in the catalogue photograph. Old very minor marks and chips commensurate with age. There has been some minor retouching to the gilding in the past. There are some small cracks to the mirrored borders as visible from the catalogue photograph eg. base of right side, and both left and right glass border above the acanthus scroll in the middle of the frame. There are construction cracks at the joints which are commensurate with age as visible in the catalogue photograph some of which have been strengthened at the rear. One piece of glass leaf to the right of the acanthus scroll in the middle of the right side looks a later replacement.
