Description

  • iron, rock crstal, amethyst
  • approximately 180cm. high; 5ft. 10¾in.

Longo, Milan

Condition

In overall good conserved condition. Impressive. The gilding is worn in places on the frame. One of the large pear-shaped drops on the corona has a couple of medium sized chips and another also has a medium sized chip and other scattered very minor chips throughout which are hardly noticeable. One small glass flowerhead is missing below the corona but this can easily be replaced. Some drops probably replaced. There is evidence that the central basket had a previous fixing for electricity. A very minor section of glass which joins the pinnacle to the stem (approx 2cmx 2cm) is missing this is hardly noticeable. 170cm., 5ft. 7in high; 110cm wide, 3ft 7¼in.
