Condition

This lovely platinum print is in generally excellent condition. Upon very close examination, a few tiny deposits of original retouching are visible overall. In raking light, a very small stray deposit of graphite is visible near the lower-right edge. The print is trimmed to the image, and it lightly worn at the edges and corners. This print is tipped along the upper and lower edge to light a gray paper mount with a deckled lower edge. The secondary mount is a darker gray paper. The third mount is the same light gray paper as the primary mount, and it has a deckled left edge. It is watermarked 'M B M.' There is minor soiling and darkening of the third mount, and the lower left corner is creased. The third paper mount is affixed along the upper edge on the reverse to heavy board, which is appropriately age-darkened and soiled on the front and reverse. There is a 5-inch tideline along the lower edge, which does not affect the paper mounts or the print. The corners are rounded and there is some wear at the edges.
