- A winter landscape with figures on a path, a frozen river beyond
- bears signature and date, lower left edge: BRUEGHEL 16(75?)
- oil on copper
Condition
The copper support is flat and healthy. The paint surface has flaked a little in the branches of the tree and in the sky but appears stable now and is otherwise in good condition. Inspection under UV reveals minor retouching in the sky at the right edge.
Offered in a modern, elaborately carved gilt wood frame.
