Condition

The full sheets printed to the edges, the colours strong, in good fresh condition, each sheet with remains of hingeing tape along edges and horizontally across centre verso, each framed. Minor imperfections are listed below: F. & S. II.293 African Elephant In good condition. A diagonal soft hairline scuff mark extending from the upper left corner to the elephants ear. A horizontal unobtrusive thin line extending from the left leg though the trunk to the right leg, two other thin lines across the right leg (this is a printing imperfection). F. & S. II.294 Pine Barrens Tree Frog In good condition. A small nick at extreme edge of sheet at upper left. F. & S. II.295 Giant Panda In good condition. F.&S. II.296 Bald Eagle In good condition. There is some soft horizontal scuffing and mottled areas in the dark blue background along the top edge of the sheet, and a tiny blemish in the lighter blue at centre. Some horizontal dark blue lines associated with uneven printing in dark blue at upper left. F. & S. II.297 Siberian Tiger In good condition. The green background at right slightly mottled and with occasional scuff marks in the green at right, only visible in a raking light. F. & S. II.298 San Francisco Silverspot In good condition. F. & S. II.299 Orangutan In good condition. Two tiny spots of stray white ink above left eye. F. & S. II.300 Grevy's Zebra In good condition. A tiny blemish in the turquoise background at upper left and lower centre. F. & S. II.301 Black Rhinoceros In good condition. F. & S. II.302 Bighorn Ram In good condition. Two soft vertical scuff marks at upper centre sheet edge, only visible upon very close inspection.
