Condition

Oil on canvas with an old lining. The surface is flat and thin, particularly in the sky, with fine craquelure; clean varnish. Under UV light there are scattered dashes of inpaint in the sky, particularly to the left; there are some older areas of inpaint in the foreground, though these are difficult to see due to the dark fluorescence of the varnish.
