Condition

The support is in good condition and appears to be relined. The paint surface overall is stable and there are no obvious damages visible to the naked eye. Under UV: extensive feathered retouching to the background, drapery and flesh tones, particularly concentrated around the chest. There is some strengthening to the hair and above the sitter's right eye.
