Tempera on panel, gold ground, unframed. The panel is convex. There are three small holes in the panel: one in the lower left corner, one at the lower center edge and one at the upper center edge. There are small dents and losses to the panel at all 4 edges as well as scattered losses at the edges and throughout the picture surface. There is a repaired crack to the panel surface that runs vertically through the center of the panel; this area fluroesces under UV light. Surface dirt. Under UV light, there are also additional scatetred inpaints throughout the composition.
