Condition

The canvas is lined. The surface is slightly dirty but in overall good condition. There is craquelure throughout and frame abrasion around the edges. Retouches are visible on the hand of the Madonna. Inspection under UV reveals two 1 inch retouches on the hand and a small 1/2 inch retouch on the neck of the Madonna There is a selectively applied milky varnish in the black area surrounding the figures.
