Condition
This work is in very good condition overall. There is evidence of wear and handling to the edges and corners, resulting in some rubbing to the paint in these areas. There is some very minor and unobtrusive craquelure at the left center edge and a 1/8 in loss along the right center edge. The surface is somewhat uneven where there are particles and paintbrush hairs adhered to the surface, which appears intentional and inherent to the artist's working method. There is a ½ inch dent at the top center edge of the canvas, which appears to be the result of a slightly misshapen stretcher. There are a few spot accretions at the bottom lower edge which fluoresce brightly under Ultraviolet light inspection, but do not appear to be the result of retouching. Framed.
