Super-chancery 4to (190 x 150mm.), 375 leaves (of 380), a-g12 h-t8.12 v 1-58.8.12 6-138.12; A12 B10; a8 b10, double column, 48 lines, gothic type, a2 with contemporary Italian floral and foliate illumination including a 12-line illuminated initial with marginal extensions and a space at the foot of the leaf for the arms of the owner, 3-line initials and paraphs in blue or red, some early annotations, later limp vellum, lettered along bottom of textblock, lacking v3-6 (supplied in neat and professional contemporary manuscript) and final blank, inscription obscured on initial blank and head of a3, occasional light damp-staining, binding defective
