the typed section listing mainly people and services in New York, with extensive additional autograph sections in black ink for Munich, Rome, Spoleto, Venice  and elsewhere, some entries deleted, including Arroyo, Bernstein, Browning, Copland, William Crawford, Martha Graham, Pamela Harriman, Hans Heinsheimer, Horowitz, Manfred Ibel, Christa Ludwig, Menuhin, Ormandy, Leontyne Price, Serkin, Styron, Tippett and many others, together with restaurants, musicians, memoranda about Shostakovich and Rostropovich, and his account details 

over 80 pages, 8vo, written in a Rubrica telefonica by Gucci, the typed section 39 pages, the autograph additions 44 pages (loose), ring-bound, with W.H. Auden's card  (1962, annotated by Barber in pencil with musical rhythms on the verso), 1960s and 1970s, lacking covers
