The earrings each of interlocking hoop design, set with onyx and brilliant-cut diamonds, pouch; the ring centring on a swing-set cultured pearl of brownish tint, the band pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds, 521/2; earrings and ring each signed della Valle, maker's marks.
Condition
Each of the two lower hoops and ring signed della Valle, each with maker's marks, Each stamped 750 for 18 carat gold.
Earrings: Onyx in good condition. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 1.00 - 2.00 carats, as gauged in mounting, bright and lively. Signs of normal wear to metal consistent with use. Top hoop may be worn alone and detaches from lower hoops. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 21 grams.
Ring: cultured pearl of brownish tint with good skin, one small area of discolouration to reverse where pearl attaches to mounting. Diamonds bright and lively. Swing setting in excellent working condition. Continuous diamond pavé-setting on band, may be impossible to resize. Light signs of wear to metal consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight approximately 15 grams.
