Diamond necklace and a pair of pendent earrings, early 20th century

The necklace of scroll and foliate design, millegrain-set with circular- and single-cut diamonds, the centre suspending a later briolette diamond drop, length approximately 425mm, fitted case stamped Petochi; the earrings similarly-set with circular-cut and baguette diamonds, maker's marks, later clip fittings.

Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 35.00 - 37.00 carats (approximately 24.00 - 25.00 carats on the necklace), on average of G-I colour and VS-SI (few I) clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Clasp secure, safety catch to the side. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use. In good condition. Gross weight for the earrings approximately 24 grams and for the necklace approximately 61 grams. One case stamped Petochi, Roma.
