Pair of hematite and diamond earrings, Cartier

Each surmount set with a step-cut diamond, the hoops pavé-set with single-cut diamonds, the base decorated with a hematite bead, signed Cartier, numbered, French maker's mark, post fittings possibly later added, fitted case signed Cartier.

Each signed Cartier MADE IN FRANCE, one with clear maker's mark for Cartier, both numbered C (or G) 918 0 (final 0 not very legible), one numbering more legible than the other. Hematite bead in good condition with minor scratches to the surface visible with magnification. Diamonds bright and lively. Signs of normal wear to the metal consistent with age and use; signs of solder to post fittings and to reverse, on one side of where hematite beads attach to mounting. In good condition. Total gross weight approximately 29 grams. Fitted case with signs of wear.
