Comprising: a clip/brooch of floral design centring on an oval sapphire of orangy-yellow tint, the petals pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds; and a pair of ear clips en suite; each signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered, French assay and maker's marks.

Condition

Clip/brooch and pair of ear clips signed Van Cleef & Arpels; clip/brooch numbered M 40123, ear clips each numbered M 40122; all with French maker's marks. All stamped with French assay marks and 750 for 18 carat gold. Orangey-yellow sapphire on clip/brooch measuring approximately 14.30 x 11.75 mm (depth not possible to measure due to mounting), weighing approximately 9.00 carats, orangey-yellow sapphires on ear clips measuring approximately 10.65 x 9.25 mm and 11.10 x 9.40 mm respectively (depths not possible to measure due to mountings), and estimated to weigh approximately 4.50 carats each. Diamonds on the clip/brooch estimated to weigh a total of approximately 7.50 carats; diamonds on the ear clips estimated to weigh a total of approximately 7.50 - 8.00 carats, estimated colour G-H, on average VVS-VS clarity (as gauged and graded in yellow gold mounting). Signs of normal wear consistent with light use. In very good condition. Total gross weight approximately 50 grams.
