The oval emerald, framed with circular-cut and tapered baguette diamonds, size 52, signed Van Cleef & Arpels and numbered, French assay and partial maker's marks, case stamped Van Cleef & Arpels.

Condition

Stamped with French assay mark for platinum. Signed Van Cleef & Arpels on the inside of the shank, partial maker's mark on outside, numbered 79.976. According to the SSEF report, the emerald measures approximately 12.90 x 10.70 x 6.85mm and weighs approximately 5.90 carats, with typical crystal inclusions, some scratches, nicks and abrasions, as measured in mounting; for further information on the emerald, please refer to SSEF report. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 3.50 carats, on average of G-H colour and VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal, scratches consistent with use, minor evidence of resizing. In good condition.
