OPAL, DIAMOND AND PINK SAPPHIRE NECKLACE

Of floral motif design, suspending on an articulated flower set with a jelly opal weighing approximately 9.20 carats, surrounded by circular-cut pink sapphires together weighing approximately 1.30 carats, to petals set with brilliant-cut diamonds, highlighted by a flower bud set with three fire opals together weighing approximately 1.40 carats, the necklace decorated with brilliant-cut diamonds of brown hue, supporting numerous oscillating pear-shaped rose-cut diamonds, the diamonds together weighing approximately 12.05 carats, mounted in 18 karat blackened gold, length approximately 380mm.

Colour and Clarity: In our opinion, the jelly opal in the middle is highly translucent, of milky body colour with prominent and well-distributed play-of-colour. The other three small opals are of medium orange colour, with noticeable play-of-colour. Pink sapphires are medium to intense purple-pink colour, eye clean. Diamonds set on the flower petals are about I to J colours, those on the stalk are light to medium brown colour, overall of VS to SI clarity. Condition: Karat blackened gold mount, in very good condition.
