Description

  • Pearl, sapphire, diamond, gold
Designed as three rows of seed pearls highlighted at intervals with pierced square plaques, suspending an openwork pendant of tassel design set with calibré-cut sapphires, highlighted with circular- and single-cut diamonds, length approximately 770mm

Condition

Accompanied by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory report no. 06231, stating that extensive samples from the three rows and tassel were found to be natural, saltwater, button pearl not tested. Seed pearls generally well matched in size and colour with varying lustres, button pearl measuring approximately 7.5mm in diameter, light rosé overtones. Sapphires medium to dark blue. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 2.00 - 2.50 carats, stones bright and lively. Well articulated. Slight signs of wear to metal, one link with slight discolouration, small fractures to the reverse of the setting of the central plaque with traces of solder repair, pendant tassel possibly associated from another sautoir.
