Description

Designed as an articulated foliate spray surmounted by a bird of paradise, set with circular-cut and cushion-shaped rubies, one synthetic ruby, pear-shaped peridots, circular-cut and rose diamonds, detaches into four brooches.

Condition

Mounted in silver and gold. Rubies medium red with characteristic inclusions visible under magnification one synthetic ruby replacement. Peridots light yellowish green. Diamonds bright and lively with mixed colours and clarities, total diamond weight approximately 12.00-14.00 carats. Detaches into four separate jewels with separate brooch fittings, allowing them to be worn as brooches. Abrasions and tarnish to mount consistent with age and wear. In good condition.
