The chased gold frame applied with a pair of cherubs, framing a later circular-cut ruby and diamond cluster, surmounted with a pear-shaped emerald and circular-cut diamond accents, suspending three pearl drops, two applied with later ruby and diamond clusters, two diamonds deficient, 19th Century and later elements, composite, later brooch pin.

Condition

Accompanied by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory report no 07170, stating that the pearls were found to be natural, saltwater. Composite jewel, mounted in silver and gold, ruby and diamond clusters later additions, diamonds bright and lively with mixed colours and clarities, rubies pale pinkish purplish red with small abrassions and chips to facet edges, emerald medium green, pearls baroque shape with rose overtone, central pearl drop with small diamond deficient from surmount and base with terminal deficient, one small diamond deficient from top of brooch, brooch pin loose.
