Condition
Painted on canvasboard, which is stable. There is a thick varnish through which the UV light cannot fully penetrate but there does appear to be an area of retouching to the left part of the lower edge and a thin line of retouching (older and paler in appearance) to the upper part of the right edge, relating to previous frame rubbing. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition.
Colours: overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue.
