Centered by a square emerald-cut emerald measuring approximately 10.4 by 10.2 by 6.0 mm, framed by baguette and single-cut diamonds weighing approximately .50 carat, size 7ΒΌ; circa 1925.

Condition

In very good condition. The emerald was tested in the mounting, but the approximate carat weight based on the measurements in the catalogue is approximately 4.65 carats. The emerald is medium-deep, richly saturated, slightly bluish green and more lively than it appears in the printed catalogue. Lightly to moderately included and presenting a highly crystalline appearance. There are minute nicks at the facet junctions but the emerald remains in very good condition. The diamonds are approximately H-I color, VS clarity. The shank with some minor scratching due to wear. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 44029 stating that the emerald is of Colombian origin, clarity, enhancement: insignificant to faint, type: traditional.
