Condition

In good condition. The fluted lapis lazuli beads and rondelles are a deep blue, well-matched for color, with some flecks of pyrite evident upon close inspection. The round cultured pearls range from a creamy to silvery white body color with soft rose and green overtones. Good luster and minor blemishing to the skins in the form of pitting and wrinkling. The aventurine quartz beads, including the center bead in the pendant, range from medium-light to medium slightly bluish green, nicely complementing the lapis lazuli beads and with some darker color mottling present. The aventurine beads may in fact be jade. The lapis lazuli discs set in the pendant are medium-deep grayish blue, with some flecking of pyrite. The diamonds set in the pendant are approximately H-J color, predominantly VS clarity. The diamonds accenting the necklace are near colorless and decorative in quality. Signed and numbered on the reverse of the pendant. Please note that the pearls have not been tested for natural origin. The necklace with French assay and workshop marks, not stamped "Made in France" as noted in the printed catalogue. The pendant signed V.C.A. and numbered N.Y. 32934, not stamped "Made in New York" as noted in the printed catalogue.
