Description

containing two silver-mounted famille verte porcelain lidded pots, the mounts with the poinçon of 1703-1707 (?)

Condition

With some minor construction cracks.Lacquer with fine age cracks, rubbing and some losses to decoration; particularly at corners. Silk hinges torn. Ormolu mounts with oxidation and dirt. Height of each porcelain pot approx. 4in. Mounts with oxidation. Please note that the porcelain has not been examined beneath the mounts. Overall in good condition except for some very minor wear and scratching to the enamel. One has a small chip to the foot rim.
