Claw-set with an oval sapphire weighing 16.99 carats within a frame of circular-cut diamonds, size T1/2.

Condition

Accompanied by The Gem & Pearl Laboratory report no. 08933, stating that the sapphire shows no evidence of heat treatment, origin opinion Sri Lanka. Additionally accompanied by Edelsteinlabor Eigner report from Germany, stating that the sapphire is Ceylon, with no indication of thermal treatment. Stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Sapphire slightly pale bright purplish blue, measuring 16.2 x 13.0 x 9.8mm, calculated to weigh approximately 16.50 carats, good clarity with a few characteristic inclusions visible to naked eye and under magnificaiton. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.50 - 2.50 carats, estimated colour and clarity I-J and Si on average. Overall in very good condition.
