  • ink and color on silk, handscroll
signed chen Tang Dai, with two seals of the artist, chen tang dai, gong hui. Colophons by Liang Shizhen (1697-1763), signed chen Liang Shizheng, dated renxu (1742) of the Qianlong reign, summer, with two seals, chen, shi zheng; and Zhang Daqian (1899-1983), signed Daqian di Zhang Yuan, dated xinmao, the sixteenth day of the second lunar month (March 23, 1951), with one seal, zhang yuan si yin. With five imperial collectors' seals, including qian long yu shang zhi bao (Emperor Qianlong, 1711-1799), jia qing yu lan zhi bao (Emperor Jiaqing, 1760-1820), and xuan tong yu lan zhi bao (Emperor Xuantong, 1906-1967)

Condition

-Overall in good condition except that the silk bears a tanned tone due to age -Watermarks can be found on the top and bottom of the painting, especially at the beginning of the scroll -Minor restoration can be found on the left bottom part of the painting -The mounting appears to be original Imperial mount
