Description

  • Bronze inlaid with turquoise, coral and hardstones
cast seated in in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base, the arms raised in vitarkamudra holding a bell and a vajra respectively, wearing a dhoti embellished with beaded jewels, the benevolent face surmounted by an elaborate headdress

Condition

The figure is in good condition with the exception of a slight lean to the left, loss to the majority of inlay on the headdress, minor dents and nicks around the edge of the base and rubbing and loss to the gilding at the extremities.
