  • white marble on a veined grey marble column

Condition

There is wear to the surface of the marble throughout. The nose is restored. There are restorations to both hands, on each hand three of the fingers, the thumbs and part of the palm are restored. There are losses to the chains on the ground, a section of the base at the back is reattached. There is restoration to the base at the woman's proper left side. There is veining to the marble including two open veins running across the top of the woman's head. There are a number of naturally ocurring inclusions to the marble including to the woman's proper right arm and abdomen. There are chips and abrasions to the columns and reliefs. There are a number of restored breaks to the column, particularly to the top.
