Condition

Overall the condition is good with dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. The stand is carved in sections. There is wear to the gilding throughout. There are some losses throughout including some losses to the putti's fingers and wings. There is splitting to the wood consistent with material, particularly to the lower section with the armorial cartouches. The splitting has revealed some of the white ground beneath the gold. The top on the top section is slightly loose. There are a few small detached pieces.
