Catalogue Note
The original American appearances of the first three Harry Potter books, predating the first American editions. In his 'Note from the Publisher' in Sorcerer's Stone, Arthur A. Levine predicted that the owner would face a "...quandary: whether to share this with a friend, or to keep it to yourself, knowing how much this Reader's Edition of J.K. Rowling's first book will be worth in years to come."
