folio, black letter, title and calendar in red and black, title within woodcut border, woodcut initials, mixed edition (presumably the March 1549 edition but with the May 1549 title-page), with an early manuscript facsimile of the last two pages, one page of extracts from Grafton's 1549 edition in an early hand and an extract from Hume on Edward VI in a later hand, purple morocco gilt by Rivière, edges gilt, part of title-page and whole of colophon leaf supplied in facsimile, lacking 1A8 (blank), upper blank margins of preface and first two leaves of table renewed, some small marginal paper repairs elsewhere, washed throughout
