The sheet is not laid down but is adhered to a backing card via two hinges at the top edge. There are pin holes in all four corners, with a slight scuff to the bottom left hand corner, partially visible in the present mount. There is deckling along the extreme top edge and a very minor tear to the top edge in the top left corner, not visible in the present mount. There are a few minor spots of staining to the sheet, including a small spot to the centre of teh left hand side of the composition within the hills, to the sky and above the signature. This excepting the work appears in very good overall condition with strong, bold pencil. Housed in a thick grey-painted wooden frame, set within a cream card mount behind glass.
