Condition

Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is slightly deeper in the original. Condition: This work is in very good condition. Close inspection reveals a number of very minor paint losses scattered at intervals along the edges. There is a small area of paint loss and variegation to the blue paint on the blue side of the base as visible in the catalogue illustration. No restoration is apparent under ultra violet light.

Catalogue Note

“...like the models of possible universes... the artist has conceived of the coexistence of diverse elements, but all aimed at harmony, suspending and balancing entities of different weights and dimensions.”
