'Recruits': sheet: 400 by 325mm; 15¾ by 12¾in 'The Relief': sheet: 299 by 347mm; 11¾ by 13¾in 'A Camp Scene': sheet: 317 by 409mm; 12½ by 161/8 in 'Nancy': sheet: 400 by 292mm; 15¾ by 11½in 'A Visit to the Camp': sheet: 320 by 370mm; 12½ by 14½in With narrow to small margins, apart from 'The Relief' trimmed just within the platemark, each framed. 'Recruits': a diagonal fold extending from centre of upper edge to lower left edge, some scattered fox marks, repairs at centre of upper edge, remnants of previously adhered sheet at sheet edges, pale paper discoloration, upper edge of sheet recto glued to mount, other minor defects. 'The Relief': in good condtion apart from a vertical fold at centre left, a crease across lower left corner, short vertical creases along upper edge of sheet, pale scattered fox marks recto and verso, slight surface dirt. 'A Camp Scene': a 4cm diagonal crease at lower right of image, pale scattered fox marks, pale paper discoloration, tip of lower right corner repaired, minor nicks at edges. 'Nancy': two short diagonal creases in the lower margin, pale scattered fox marks, remnants of previously adhered white paper in the margins with associated occasional thin spots, minor repairs and nicks at edges, slight surface dirt, pale paper discoloration. 'A Visit to the Camp': in good condition apart from a pale brown stain at upper corner of image, pale scattered fox marks, pale paper discoloration, slight surface dirt.
