Condition

Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down. The sheet is hinged to the over-mount at two points along the upper edge and is slightly wavy. There are three flattened creases running diagonally in the upper part of the composition. A close inspection reveals four small spots of surface abrasion on the reverse of the sheet, towards the corners. Apart from some light time-staining and a few faint spots of foxing, this work is in very good original condition.
